Bending and forming of this grade requires tools with larger capacity. Ductility of grade 2205 is lesser than austenitic grades; due to this fact, cold heading just isn’t possible on this grade. In order to carry out chilly heading operations on this grade, intermediate annealing should be carried out. Higher corrosion resistance is required, however with lower energy and better formability. Better formability is required, with similar corrosion resistance and lower power.
